Parade's organic cotton '2-way' zipper rompers are designed for ultimate comfort and easier changes.

Discover an easier way to dress your baby - our '2-way' double zip style allows for quick changes and cuddly comfort. Simply zip down from the top for dressing, zip up from the bottom for changes, all without exposing baby's tummy, and no pulling over the head. Features include inner zipper fabric backing and neck fold to protect gentle skin.

Features

  • We use nickel free snaps & AZO free dyes to protect sensitive skin. Little ones will be comfy in our fitted style with room to grow - ankle cuffs can be rolled up to make each size last longer.
  • Dress from the top, change from the bottom - all without exposing baby‘s tummy, and no more pulling over the head! Added bonus - we only use the best YKK zippers.
  • Did you know garment making is still all done by hand? From cutting to printing to sewing, many hands have helped create your unique Parade piece. Variations may occur slightly with sizing or prints for this reason. We think it‘s part of the charm - we hope you agree!

You can rest assured each Parade piece was grown, dyed, and sewn in India under GOTS standards. GOTS (the Global Organic Textile Standard) certification ensures the organic status of textiles from the harvesting of the raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, to provide credible assurances to the consumer. The standard covers the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labelling, trading and distribution of organic cotton clothing and we are very proud to have it.

Sizing and Care

Size Chart Parade Organics

Are there any specific washing instructions I should follow for organic cotton?
We recommend you wash cold and tumble dry low for best results and the least shrinkage. Conventional cotton apparel is generally treated with chemicals during finishing to reduce the shrinking effects of heat. Organic cotton is not chemically treated, so will shrink slightly more than processed cotton. We allow for this in our designs, so our garments may look larger than non-organic garments before you wash them. Shrinkage is worse for the lengths of the garments and is less noticeable in width. Do not use bleach or harsh detergents on natural, organic cotton - it will cause fading and weakening of the fibres.

Will the dyes fade?
Eco-friendly dyes are just as long lasting as the harmful dyes used on conventional products. However, they will fade if powerful detergents or bleaching agents are used. Because there are no chemical color fixatives used in our clothing, please do not mix dark colors with light ones for the first few washes. For the first wash, if you add ¼ cup of vinegar to the final rinse, this will help to set the color and resist fading or bleeding. Tip! - when washing prints, you can turn them inside out during the first few washes to help lock in the colour.

Is Organic Cotton durable?
Organic cotton is much stronger because it is not exposed to the weakening, harsh chemicals that commercially grown cotton is, therefore organic cotton will last many years, and can be handed down to many babies to come! That being said, organic cotton is a natural fiber and still prone to break down from external forces. Knees and elbows are not reinforced, and will wear when in repeated contact with rough surfaces - for example, during the crawling stage. Interlock cotton may wear in the knees if baby is crawling on hard surfaces. During this time it is recommended to use kneepads or legwarmers or something similar over the knees to protect your cotton garments.
